Back 4 Blood is a shooter with Left 4 Dead mechanics, where a team of players of up to four people goes on various missions, such as escape and others, and also destroys all kinds of zombies along the way. The game was first announced in 2019 but was not fully “revealed” until the Game Awards in December 2020. The game is being developed by Turtle Rock Studios, the creators of the monster shooter Evolve.

Black 4 Blood will be released on June 22, 2021. Once launched, Back 4 Blood will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
Back 4 Blood plot
The game takes place after a pandemic when most of humanity was either killed or infected with a parasitic worm. The survivors continue to try to keep themselves alive and keep in small groups, not trusting anyone. The veterans who have lived the longest are called the Cleaners.
Gameplay and Link to Left 4 Dead
The gameplay and even the characters are very reminiscent of the Left 4 Dead series. However, Black 4 Blood has nothing to do with the latter, except that some of the same developers are working on it.
We can complete various missions and fend off waves of zombies, among which there are rare mini-bosses and big bosses. In a fit of battle, you can hear funny remarks of the characters and learn a little more about them through negotiations with each other.
The co-op allows four players to play, but there are also multiplayer PvP features that support up to eight users. There will also be modes where one player is on the side of the zombies and tries to destroy people, like in Evolve.
